For those not wishing to stay at the university, there are many other options. The University of Ottawa is located in the heart of downtown, close to a multitude of hotels. Listed here a few possibilities. Please be aware that inclusion of a business on this list does not represent an endorsement by the conference.
Ottawa Hostel—Deemed by the National Post as the "Most Unusual Place to Sleep" the hostel is located within walking distance of the university. Rates range from $32 – 77/night for non-members. Link
Albert at Bay Suite Hotel—Want something more than just a room to hang your hat? The Albert at Bay is an all-suite hotel located about 15 minutes walking distance from the university. Link
Lord Elgin Hotel—Located just across the bridge from the university, the Lord Elgin is a 355 room hotel in the heart of downtown. Link
